Making Orange Juice

Today, my Grandma gave us a juicer. So my Dad bought oranges. Then he called me and showed me how to make juice. Then I tried doing it myself. Dad helped me. I pushed the oranges into the hole and turned it on. Then it became juice! I made juice until the oranges were all gone! I gave my Mom, my Dad, and my Brother juice. And I drank my own fresh orange juice. It tasted good. But sour! So my Dad got some honey from the kitchen. We put the honey by the teaspoonful. And the juice tasted better! It was just right. Here are my photos making fresh orange juice ---

My Birthday

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am nine today!

When I woke up, I was soooo happy! I dressed up and washed my face and brushed my teeth and then me and my family went to the car. We drove to my grandparents' house then they got into the car and we went to a restaurant called "Greenwich". We ate pizza, pasta, fried chicken, and lots more! We had a nice time. My grandparents gave me money. I thanked them then we drove them back to their house.

After that, we went home and brought out a cake from Conti's. It is a restaurant-bakeshop that sells cakes and more. The cake was a mango cake that Conti's calls "Mango Tart". My mom put my nine candles the candles and then my dad lit it up. I blew the candles and made a wish. My mom put the candles away from the cake so we can eat it. But we were still full from the food from Greenwich. So we saved it for later and put it in the refrigerator.

Here is a picture of me and my cake:

Time for gift-giving!!!!! I sat on the rocking chair and closed my eyes and put my hands out. My mom and dad gave me the gift. I opened it and saw a pink Hello Kitty box. I opened the box and saw a Hello Kitty Telephone! I yelled "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" And my parents and I hung it on the wall of my room. I started calling my friends but they were'nt there. I knew why. Because my birthday is on April 24 - Easter Sunday!

So after that, we went to the car and drove somewhere else. We went to a Videoke place called "Music 21 Plaza". We went to our videoke room. It was green and there were black sofa chairs and groovy green lights. There was a mini disco ball. The time was 3:00. We started singing. I sang first! I sang Love Story by Taylor Swift because she is my favorite singer. Then my Brother sang 21 Guns by Green Day. And we sang and sang until 7:00.

Our last song was Happy Birthday. I got the camera and put it on a table where we could all be seen. We sat on the chairs and my Mom, my Dad, and my Brother sang a Happy Birthday to me. I sat beside them. And when we checked the camera if it was a good video, IT WAS OFF!!! It had no more battery. My Mom, my Dad, and my Brother sang Happy Birthday infront of a camera that is off! We laughed and laughed about it. But we still had a previous video of ourselves singing Happy Birthday.

And then we left. We went to a restaurant called "Banapple". We ate our dinner there. I even got a free Banapple pen because it was their Easter giveaway!

We went back home after we all finished eating. My dad got out the Mango Tart cake. We ate 2 pieces of cake each. And BANG! The Mango Tart cake was all finished.

It was the best day ever.

My Royal Academy of Dance Exam

Today, I had my RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) exam! Every year, all the RAD students have an exam to see if they could go to the next level. I'm grade 2 and I took the exam to go to grade 3. The examiner, Miss Greene, was very nice. She's from London. After every dance she always says, "That was lovely!" or "Wonderful, girls!".

The picture on top shows me and my 3 friends who took the exam with me. But that's not all! Some of them went home after the exam immediately so I wasn't able to take their picture too. For those who want to know more about RAD, click this: Royal Academy of Dance
