My Ballet Pointe/Toe Shoes

Since starting to wear pointe shoes this summer, I've been slowly getting accustomed to it. I still have to study and practice hard, especially that my RAD exam is coming up.

 

I have Bloch Pointe Shoes, and Lamb's Wool Toe Pads with Gel Tips. There's also a Bloch Garter and a Capezio Satin Ribbon which my Mom stitched on last time.

And after dancing for hours, I got my first two blisters. Hahaha!



 

 That's why I have to wrap my toes with masking tape before dancing on pointes :)

My Purple Yam Cake Clay Creation

I "baked" Purple Yam Cake (out of modeling clay) today!

 

I put a lot of frosting and a lot of candy flowers and rosettes.

 

Do you like it or think it's pretty? :)

 

I gave my Mom a slice of the little cake.

 

See the crème filling inside? Yum!

 

My Mom said that the cake I "baked" was really delicious.

 

 I'm going to make more clay creations next time! :)

I haven't been blogging for a while because I got so busy with school work, dancing, and reading. Lots of reading!  :)  But here I am and I'm ready to write again and join new-found memes in Blogger :D
